Sam's influence was insidious .

Although it felt quite claustrophobic, it didn't feel claustrophobic enough I felt.

It was I think rated as an 18, because of the sex. But there was nowt really.

The patriarchy in all it's glory.

I might have watched too many sect documetaries on Netflix though!

I watched it, I thought that there wasn't much subtlety to it.
All men for instance were bad, the 'best one' left his pregnant wife and kids and left the commune for a mistress. All the rest were sexual abusers or murderers.

I get it that the patriachy is bad, religion can be repressive for women, yes, but it just seemed a bit like charicatures of goodies and baddies.
