What comedy?

sunnydisaster · 21/04/2026 07:50

I watched it & enjoyed! A bit far fetched but aren’t they all.

pouletvous · 21/04/2026 13:40

nobody wants which conedy?

MagnoliaTreeBlossom · 21/04/2026 15:48

I also watched it and enjoyed it. I remember Adam Brody as Seth in The OC and liked him in the role of Noah in this.

It's light entertainment and I will set a watchlist for season 3.

MagnoliaTreeBlossom · 21/04/2026 19:10

It's a Netflix comedy series called Nobody Wants This.
I watched Series 1 and 2 in 2025 after it popped up as a suggestion on Netflix.

I enjoyed it but also forgot I watched season 1 when season 2 came out. It’s easy watching and lighthearted. The plot is a bit thin at times but I like the characters.

Dazedandconfused28 · 21/04/2026 20:05

I love it! It's one of those series I can watch over and over - I particularly love the 'ick' episode & also Joanne's wardrobe

TheCurious0range · 21/04/2026 20:07

I love this is just an easy watch. I also had a bit of a crush on Adam Brody back in his OC days and this character almost feels similar

Holdonforsummer · 21/04/2026 20:09

I think the OP missed out some capital letters leading to this confusion….

Italiangreyhound · 21/04/2026 22:45

sunnydisaster

It's based on a true situation (although he is not a rabbi) but yes, it is a bit far-fetched.

MagnoliaTreeBlossom

Yes I loved him in the OC though he was rather in the shadow of the blond guy!

Italiangreyhound · 21/04/2026 22:49

The sister is great too.

Italiangreyhound · 21/04/2026 22:52

Yes, I missed out the capitals!

Nobody Wants This is the name of the series and the name of the Podcast the sisters record.

Emily Arlook, who plays Rebecca, is stunning. I have a girl crush.

It’s ok although I did get a bit bored of the repeated,
we should be together/no we shouldn’t.

tennissquare · Yesterday 07:11

Season 3 has just started filming and will air later in the year, you can Google the new cast members/ guest stars for season 3.

Notonthestairs · Yesterday 07:14

I really enjoyed it although I’m most fond of the supporting characters - Esther, Sasha & Morgan in particular.

I agree they are great

Loved season 1 and rewatched twice. Season 2 was meh.

I do like the fact that they stick together as it would be more dramatic to break up lots.

MrsTravelBug · Yesterday 07:29

My husband really likes this so we watch it, I find a lot of the characters annoying but it is easy to watch.

Yes 'Nobody Wanted This' Comedy.

Italiangreyhound · Yesterday 20:17

Notonthestairs agree, also ..."fond of the supporting characters - Esther, Sasha & Morgan in particular." Also like Bina.

Bina was in The Walking Dead.

I thought season 2 was weak. Esther’s complete personality change, what Noah sees in her when she continues to be an immature selfish monster, Morgan’s bizarre rapid romance.

it was meh at best

Enko · Yesterday 20:39

I enjoyed this and will watch series 3 for sure.

Italiangreyhound · Today 01:19

"Esther’s complete personality change, what Noah sees in her when she continues to be an immature selfish monster, "

Do you mean Sasha (Esther's husband)?

OP posts:
Notonthestairs · Today 11:03

I dont think Esther became a monster! Although I agree that she started making selfish choices. But I think she was questioning what comes next.
