Posting in TA as not sure where to post, I’ve just signed up for this as my NOW broadband was coming to its anniversary and they are apparently moving over to ‘Now powered by SKY’ I’ve signed up for the TV package too which includes Netflix / Disney and some others anyway I’ve been reading some terrible one star reviews on trust pilot, there are hundreds all very negative so I am now thinking I have made a mistake, it is quite cheap £35 pm to include fast broadband and the TV package, I suppose that’s why it’s cheap, does anyone have any positive experiences to report please

We’ve had Sky stream ( not glass) for about 2 yrs , no problems at all with it .

We have it, works fine. You need decent broadband and I miss the box and being able to record.

@tinyspiny thank you for your fast reply, and it’s good to hear, its just that it seems as if it’s ’too good to be true’ for the price really. I’ve fixed in for 24 months as well, it’s just hassle to change it all again if I wanted to ‘cool off’

@FurForksSake thank you - I love the tiny size of the ‘puck’ it arrived today and recording doesn’t affect me as I only ever watch catch up, I do remember the old sky box with the series link and recorded content was nice zooming through the adverts

We've got it no issues at all

@SqueakyFromme you can add ad skipping , we have it , it’s an extra £6 per month for us but we have 2 pucks not sure if it’s cheaper for just one .

I’ve had it for about 3 years and love it. So much easier than having a dish installed. The only downside is obviously if the WiFi goes down, but that’s rare thankfully.

I pay £28 per month for mine which includes basic Netflix Sky Cinema, and now Disney and HBO. I’m sure the price will go up slightly with these new additions, but my contract is up in July, so I’ll call them and try to renegotiate a new deal.

I find it particularly good around Christmas for the movies, and in general there’s loads of great documentaries. You can also do a 30-day rolling contract to see if you like it before committing to a 2 year contract.

@IDrinkTeaAllTheTime thanks ! its £35 pm for me fixed for 24 months which is still a small amount less than i currently pay with the NOW tv subscription and current broadband, my router is five years old now and very outdated so im looking forward to a better service in that respect. Many Thanks for your reply
