The Copenhagen Test C4 - Intelligence services based mystery thriller

This started last night on C4 and at first thought oh no another US based macho men smashing their way through everything and everybody.

But in fact very different.

Quite a complex story line (I had to re-watch bits!) which I am not going to try and explain.

I suspect it will be interesting to watch, but predict the ending will be a let down.

Though some might find it interesting - maybe ...

(Women are a bit over dressed as though part of a fashion show - very strange to feel the need to do that.)

2 episodes per night?

I watched episode 1. Lots to figure out. I like so far.
feels a bit Truman show in a way

I'm gripped, and I can follow it, complicated though it is, unlike BBC's The Capture.

Well that's good, as I am about to attempt episode 2 and I may need to ask quesions ...

I dont know why but it made me think of the X files, which it isn't really like at all!

But am hoping it is going to keep up the surprises of the first episode.

I've now finished watching and suspect that because I was so confused at the beginning, some of the end didn't make sense to me.

I cant bring myself to watch it again right away, but in the future I might watch for a second time in the hope I am better able to grasp the story line.

For instance who was the man who wanted the parents killed and why? Without remembering that some of the end didn't make sense.

Also was disappointed that the second to last episode had endless gun fights.

It just didn't fit in with the way the plot developed and the ideas or scheming behing it.

Its like in series 3 of the Capture rather than go deeper in to the use of technology etc., they just had endless gun fights.

But overall would recommend this series to anyone who wants a bit of a plot challenge.

And also, a relief to have the main characters not be straight out of central casting.
