Even the World Service had four hours 🤦‍♀️.

Two matches. All the rest of them were on TNT and not available free to view to those who wanted to watch. It's the FA Cup quarter final, not a regular weekend.

It was one channel and I'm sure there were other channels available to you.

And because most of the matches weren't live on BBC, the regular broadcast of Match of the Day wasn't on, so some of that time was then returned to non football scheduling.

I really resent having to pay the licence fee for football. And more football.

Football like other sport should all be on a pay channel so people interested in it can pay a subscription like I have to do to watch many series I like

I like football. I don't like most soaps and reality TV. I don't demand that they're put on other channels.

Who made you the decider. I prefer watching sport especially the Olympics, and football over drama.
I pay my license. Why shouldn't I get to watch what I want sometimes.
Having lived in other countries, the coverage of sporting events like the olympics is so rubbish compared to what the BBC offer. Unless you happen to want to watching solely handball and weightlifting.

Why is football anymore stupid than crappy Soaps?

I live midway between Southampton and Portsmouth and not really a football fan at all but as it is a "local" team I did watch the Southampton/Arsenal match.

Ordinarily, I might have been really annoyed football took up so much of the evening viewing but I made an exception last night.

I love football and pay for channels in order to watch it. It’s not that often in the course of a year that it’s on free to view so I do think you’re being unreasonable. World Cup in summer tho!

My son made me laugh yesterday when looking where he could watch Southampton, “mum, do we have BBC?” The YouTube generation!

Out of the 4 matches one was on TNT yesterday and another is on TNT today. The other two were on BBC but as I said there was no evening Match of the Day.

I don't have a TV but I got a TV licence during the Euros so I could watch the games live. I don't care for tennis or rugby and I can't stand Strictly but don't moan when they're on, I just find something else to watch or do. The BBC is for everyone, which means not all of it is going to be something you like.
