I usually look at the movie listings because I got on offer last year for a wider selection of channels.
I dont really follow movie reviews, and relied on the quick plot summary, year made, who was in a movie and the director to decide whether to watch.
Not that I have favourite movie stars or anything, but say a film from a few years agos with Sylvester Stallone would not be something I would want to watch!
For some reason the movie listings dont have that. There is just short plot summary, no idea of the year, actors or directors and quite often the image is some sketch supposedly of the lead actor/ess and it could be anybody.
Has anyone else noticed this. Do you find it a problem if like me you dont really bother to keep up with movie news and reviews?
I watched a film recently whose name I recognised because one of its stars got an Oscar (I think). I thought it was really pathetic, but then had I known the cast list wouldn't have expected anything different.
May seem a bit of a silly moan, but it just doesn't make sense to have got rid of core info from the listings!
