I am predicting that there are going to be a lot of dusty-cardigan types who will be all of a fluster at the full on lips male kiss! In fact I will guarantee there are going to be complaints. Funny advert though!

LyraSilvertongue · 16/06/2008 23:39

I saw it this morning and thought it was funny but I think there will be complaints aplenty.

Ags · 17/06/2008 00:01

Oh I really hope there won't be complaints! It is very amusing and the kiss is not remotely offensive. Dh and I both looked up from our computers and laughed.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 13:30

complaints ? God I hadn't even thought of that - it's just a funny advert !

Ewww. That's disgusting.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 16:12

? disgusting ?

Mayo. Blech.

bran · 17/06/2008 16:25

TBH, the kiss was not at all shocking. What was a bit was a child asking for salad in his ham sandwich. Honestly, these ad people have no idea about the real world.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 16:27

KayHarker ! I won't be buying any as I can't be doing with mussed up mayo

OP posts:
KayHarker · 17/06/2008 16:34

I'm feeling very naughty today, I could have spun that out a bit longer but I've just been banging my head against the keyboard in frustration over people getting cross because a woman in Doctor Who used a female pronoun when talking about an ex.

Won't somebody think of the children??!!

SaintGeorge · 17/06/2008 16:38

I like the Doritos ad on the same link. Makes you wonder why ad campaigns cost a fortune.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/06/2008 16:48

oh yes ! the Doritos one is great too !

unbelievable really

wem · 24/06/2008 12:32

oops

MamaG · 24/06/2008 12:32

pathetic isn't it

Twinkie1 · 24/06/2008 12:32

Yep pulled this morning - pissed ourselves when we first saw it - am very sad at the censorship of things like this - I mean we can see gay men kissing in the street FHS why not on the telly and it wasn't a full on frenchie (ha ha from school days!) was it!

Jbck · 24/06/2008 21:31

I thought the point was that the mayo turned Mum into a great chef & it's nothing to do with a gay relationship, am I crediting it with being cleverer than it really is, or missing the point entirely?

Absolute nonsense that it's been pulled

ButterflyBessie · 24/06/2008 21:41

Sad wankers who complained, are they that bigoted they cannot see past a small kiss?. Life is strange

Marina · 24/06/2008 21:55

I am really astounded that Heinz have bowed to the complaints and pulled the ad. What a great message to send out

Wasn't there a big hoo haa about aq book called 'and tango makes three' about a penguin that has two dads?

Did I dream that?

Anyone?

lazarou · 24/06/2008 22:08

The 'dusty-cardigan types' comment made me laugh
