Trying - BBC 2

Never heard of it before but I caught this series last night just part way through the first one they were showing and then stayed up to watch the second. It's an old series from 2020 with three series, from what I read in IMDB but I and my dh really enjoyed it.
I just wondered if anyone else had watched it, though when doing a search it didn't come up in telly addicts. I'm planning on looking on iPlayer to see if they have it on there

Here’s one of them, I loved all the series.

That’s not been posted on since June 2024 though. And because it has ‘apple tv’ in the title I’d not have even looked at it as I don’t have that channel.

OP, I saw a bit of the first series, and found the woman slightly annoying, and I was surprised to see it’s actually so old. Series 5 is on its way apparently.

How are you finding it?

There have been 5 other threads since then.
Including one this year and one last year.

We found it this week and we're enjoying it, makes a pleasant change to all the police dramas and the like that we usually watch.

I just searched again and by just putting Trying in the title and searching for title only in Telly Addicts nothing came up, so I'm obviously using the AS wrong.
Prior to that, only trying that came up appeared to be posters correcting their posts, or for other reasons, not connected to the programme.
However, I did eventually find a few posts about it several pages in, but it wasn't easy to find.

Anyway, I'm glad some people enjoyed it. I can see it could get annoying as it's a bit overacted, but at its heart it had a lovely feel so I'll see if I can find some more

I found it by chance and am really enjoying it, it's easy watching. We've got Apple TV so I may end up watching it on there as the BBC pace seems very slow.

It only works if you use advanced search and then search by Telly Addicts topic
Then sort by newest first
