Do I want Netflix?

I don’t watch a lot of TV - perhaps an hour or so a day, mostly BBC1 and BBC2. I’m picky about what I watch - quality drama, special interest topics and quiz shows mainly. I’m wondering if the Netflix offering is worth spending money on. Those of you who have it, what are the good things about it?

I love the true crime documentaries

I think it’s the most expensive of the subscriptions. I cancelled my tv licence around 15 years ago so have them all. I think Netflix has the most but I pay £12.99 for two screens. YouTube actually gets more at the minute. For free.

It’s only £5.99 a month with ads. Give it a go for a mint and see. Sometimes there’s no ads. Sometimes they are 20-30 seconds and occasionally they are 1min long especially if it’s new or currently popular. The adds honestly don’t bother me so I kept it at the lowest option. There so much on it. I watch a lot of true crime, comedy, sometimes films and lots of drama thriller series.

I struggle to find anything worth watching. I keep the subscription for my youngest. Try it for a month and then cancel.

You only get one screen then don’t you? We have a few TVs in our house. Last night I settled down to watch Bridgerton and still couldn’t as two other people were watching stuff.

Thank you @StCuntyMcCunterson@SwedishEdith@tedibear@youalright I only have one screen, and I don’t have a problem with ads, so I’ll give it a go for a month and see how much I watch. You’ve been very helpful.
