Is there a thread for this new series on Channel 4 starting on Sunday?

I watched the first episode.
Olivia (?) seemed so bright but nervous and teary. The other youngish woman got things right but took too long because she wasn't confident. I wondered why some of them entered really, especially the first game about the missing letter and some of them were faffing around with the cards rather than just casting their eyes along and doing it in their head. I do think the ice cream game was a real challenge though - I probably would have given up and just made myself a nice sundae!

I just watched it, not sure about it really. The woman who had 100% in her SATS and guy with the Cambridge offer, and a couple of others, they already knew they are academically bright so I don’t know what revalidation it would have given them. It just underlines that being academic doesn’t always translate to career success, there are loads of other factors.

Also having to be in pairs for one of the games seemed a bit unfair.

I’ll keep watching because I do like seeing how people think.

I did wonder if the being in pairs bit was done to even out the field/competitors a little?

But I mainly came to say what's with the fluffing spendy knitwear on tv these days 😂
