Has anyone watched this ? It’s fantastic
i only knew of him from the lyrics of the Chic tune ‘he’s the greatest dancer’ so basically knew nothing, but what a brilliant series, no holds barred I loved it

I really enjoyed it too. I didn’t particularly like Ewan McGregor before watching this but he was superb as Halston.

@Beekman seems just us then ? I can forgive his lapses into his Scots accent as he was very superb in it, he nailed the campy body language and withering looks and some of his lines were laugh out loud, I’ve watched a documentary since and Halston actually sounded like Vincent Price ! The cocaine phone was also a real thing as well, the whole thing was so sad as overshadowed by the AIDS epidemic at that time. Also wondering what ‘stunt’ cigarettes they use as everyone was smoking all the time, I loved fhe Liza Minelli actress too, I loved the biopic a lot and wish I could watch it all over again. Oh and special mention to the Cocteau Twins close out music, actually felt quite emotional. 😢

I've been fascinated by Halston for decades. Adore the fashion summed up beautifully by the glamour of the song

@ChurchWindows great Chic song. You should watch the series it really is good, not a dull moment. I just was browsing and thought it sounded fairly boring -how wrong I was ! hooked within ten minutes, personally speaking of course I just loved every second of it
