Disney + Three Months, MUST watches ❤️

TheBeaTgoeson1 · 27/01/2026 20:01

I have three months of Disney+, on a reduced rate with no adverts, looking for recommendations, particularly of series. Things I have enjoyed in the past, are slow horses, only murders in the building, blue lights, and to a certain extent things like the night manager.

I tend to prefer British series. Any help greatly appreciated!

End of an Era docu-series 🫶

Grey’s Anatomy - American but first handful of series with the original crew are good.

Brothers and Sisters - also American but very absorbing and Sally Field, Matthew Rhys great.

I never that much to watch on Disney tbh - tend to dip in every now and again and cancel in between.

If Shogun is still available, can really recommend it.

But such add that there are some quite graphic scenes of violence.

(My coping techniques are to put my hands over my eyes and sing la la la very loudly - and I wonder why sometimes I get lost in plots)

But so much of it is well worth viewing.

The Bear is brilliant

I was enjoying The Americans (I need to renew my subscription to continue watching it...)

I got this for the Eras tour documentary

I'm finding it weirdly hard to navigate. I'm not sure if I'm being thick.

I would like to just see a list of comedies but it doesn't seem to work like that.

I've really enjoyed Mid Century Modern but I haven't watched anything else. So I'll be watching this thread for comedy suggestions because the only thing I can figure out is - you have to actually know what you're looking for?

Paradise is excellent.
And the second series is out next month.

The Lowdoen. It's American but has a real relaxed charm. Also HIGHLY recommend Reservation Dogs. Same writer and it's just great

Twisted tale of Amanda Knox had me crying 🥺 I was not expecting to be so moved.
