Anyone watching this on Netflix? I can only see 5 of the 7 seasons but halfway through S5 now.

I loved 1-3 but felt it’s gone downhill since then.

I agree!

I love it initially (I was binge watching it) but by Series 4 I was pretty much done and just stopped watching it.

By that point I felt all the warmth had gone out the show and that Sean just wasn’t as likeable.

I also felt that Dr Glassman had become a bit of a knob and seemed to be dating someone about 35 years younger than him and it all just seemed a bit odd.

The show had just lost its charm.

I haven’t even bothered trying to watch Series 5. It’s a shame really as I had such high hopes when I first started watching it.

Yes - I’m on season 2 now. It’s strangely addictive.
shame to read it jumped the shark so maybe I’ll just stick with the first 3!

The lady Dr Glassman was dating is his real life wife 😆

I kind of wish it had finished at S3 but now that I’ve carried on I will finish it. Found seasons 6 and 7 on Sky so I’m now halfway through S6

Just googled it and Richard Schiff (Dr Glassman) has been married to the actress playing Debbie for 30 years and he’s actually only 6 years older than her.

It went through a bad middle but Improved.
I liked the ending very much.

I’ve accidentally seen quite a few spoilers as I’ve gone along and have read that the ending is really good, which is why I will persevere.

Season 4 was filmed during Covid so I think that would have had a huge effect on everything.
