Last nights ten years younger

Wow, have only started watching this programme (3 weeks ago). Cannot believe the transformation last night. The woman was told she looked 53 (was only 39), once she had her transformation she looked 33 and stunning. Does anybody know if the show or person pay for all the changes?

not sure- but did you not think that they styled her to look like Nicky Hambilton Jones, the presenter?

the teeth were great, and i was gobsmacked (pun intended) that she was only 39 and had no teeth due to severe gum disease. I'm 36, and can't imagine that happening....

Oh, the show pays. And they pay for the new clothes and everything.

I thought she was absolutely beautiful when they had finished with her and, as you say, that was mostly down to her new teeth, but also her lovely skin.

Is Nicky Hambleton-Jones really only 38? I know she looks fashionable, well-groomed and very elegant. But I think she looks older than 38!

I wonder was she a methadoner. You can always tell a person whose been on methadone because their teeth all fall out.

Not everyone who goes on Methadone has their teeth fall out.

Yes, she did blame the diet coke. Can't imagine drinking one can a day, never mind 15!

I have a cousing who has been on methodone for nearly 20 years and still has all his own teeth.

I think that Nikki woman ha some sort of god complex - as they seem to style them all to be clones of her.

She did look stunning though - did you see the look her other half gave her as she walked in - he did not look pleased and was noticeable in his absense when they were interviewing her friends and relative afterwards.

I drink about 10 cans of Coke a day. And never Diet coke.

OR, did they just say that on the show, because they don't want to say and this is an methadone user.

Obviously a lot of methadone users would still brush their teeth and have pride and want to sort out their lives, but there'd also be a number who cared about nothing any more, never mine their teeth.

I didn't see the show, just a quick clip. So I'm not calling THAT woman a methadone addict. I am saying though that I've read things in magazines where people claim their teeth went rotten after they became addicted to polo mints or something else unbelievable!

I would guess nobody pays. The surgery, dentistry is done gratis, for publicity. And I suspect the clothes aren't given to her as a gift, but are just for the show. But I could be wrong on the last point.

We watched it too, she did look awful. And although she looked great after I still think she looked rough for 39.
I prefer Gok, it's so much more fun

The show definitely pays for the clothes, and they get to keep them.

The surgery and dentistry may be done for free, but I know that certainly the subject does not pay anything.
