I don't like Alex at all. Sneaky, cocky and arrogant IMO. And I hated the way he kept playing the age card. I wonder if Clare has been offered a job by Karen Brady if she hasn't won?

my vote is for Helene - I like her! or Lee 2nd choice.

I am foxed - all I could think of was a vague memory (or not) that Alex did mandarin lessons, but not really sure that is even true and not just made up in my mind.

I heard Suralan on the radio this morning saying that he thinks he should have fired Michael instead of Rafe - that Rafe would have shone in the car task and could have been a finalist. He said he really liked him and had a lot of time for him. Wonder if Rafe'll get a job anyway?

Agree I thought Alex sounded like a knob going on about his age - I did snurk when almost all of the interviewers said "by the time I was your age I had done xyz and you haven't, why not?"

I don't like Alex, I find him really boring.

Lee can be a bit aggressive.

Clare has done well and until last week I thought she would walk it but now I'm not so sure,

Helene, well until last week I didn't like her at all but I think they were fairly impressed with her last week although according to the bookies she stands no chance - I have had the radio on all day

I can't be bothered to speculate, because the person who is always the surefire winner imo NEVER wins!

So I might as well go out on a limb and say Helene, since I think she has no chance.

I bet he goes for Lee although he's an idiot because they can "mould" him. Rough diamond blah blah.

He did the same last year by opting for Simon over Christina who was obviously 200 times more capable.

You know, Lee being a sort of Chinese sounding name. I know it's tenuous and not altogether PC, but....

There is no way anyone will know who wins so they could be interviewing Clare anyay as I am sure she gives good interview.

you would spend 200 years moulding lee and still only get half a plank. That bloke last year won as sralun has a soft spot for certain types ..the gritty work hard to through adversity types like helene or christina last year don't cut it with him. Which is ironic as you look at nick/margaret and they are more from that type than the lee type.

unquietdad don't think it was tenuous link to lee's name - sir alan was joking with a particularly inane radio 4 interviewer which stood out on a morning of inane interviews (Can you tell I'm grumpy today)

lol at dearbeatrice..that doesn't surprise me. His spelling certainly hasn't improved judging by his cv...
