Was on Christmas eve and shown again tonight. I’m not usually a fan of their Christmas specials but this was good, despite not having heard of the new presenter or 3 of the celebrities. I thought the new presenter seemed more effortlessly funny than some of her predecessors, although joking with celebs is probably easier than with stressed amateur sewers.
the celebrities were fun although the gladiator bloke was determined to present himself as a one dimensional gladiator character which was a shame. I loved Lucy. Was that really Anton singing at the end or was he miming too?

Oh I thought the gladiator chap was lovely!! I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it but I don’t like the new presenter because I don’t like her voice. Otherwise she’s no worse than any previous ones but the “comedy” sketches are tedious

The present was in BBC show ‘Alma is not normal’ loosely based on her own life it is worth a watch.

Enjoyed sewing be; a good mix of guests x

I enjoyed it. I liked the new presenter I think she’ll be good on the main show as seemed more naturally funny less scripted than some of prior ones (obviously aware heavily scripted but she seemed natural!) I’ve only seen her on Taskmaster and thought she was good there.

I don’t always like Lucy (not her humour) but enjoyed her input with the udders and deadpan stuff. Anton was fab and the gladiator was good and talented.

Does anyone know when the main series is on again?

I loved Sophie Willan and am really pleased she has got the presenter role.

Thought it was clear who would win although Susan's last dress was brilliant I felt.

Am suffering a bit with Gladiator saturation though...you can tell Glads is a BBC show now, they are on every bloody thing! He must have mentioned it in every single bit that was shown...painful!

I highly recommend Alma’s Not Normal, Sophie Willan’s sitcom. It’s funny sad and wonderful.
Susan Wokoma is in an excellent comedy drama on Iplayer called “Cheaters”

I don’t watch Gladiators but I thought Tom came across as a lovely family man who was there to have a great time and get really involved. Loved it!
