The Block - hooked with NZ and trying different versions

Ive recently started watching The Block NZ. (Prime algorithms chose it for me. It scarily knows me). I watched season 1 and season 2 and got hooked!

I started The Block Australia this morning as people online said the standard was much better and I am totally underwhelmed. It is totally different. And they just don’t seem to be working very hard three episodes in.

Shall I start on a different season? Does it get better? Should I try a different The Block?

Don’t watch the first two series, it gets bigger and better after that

ah. I expected as much. The fashions of 2003 are the most interesting hit for me 😂Im on episode 5 now so I am committed to season one but will definitely skip season 2.

I've recently binged NZ, am now on the 3rd season of Oz. NZ is still better, but this season is the best of the Oz lot so far although I'd cheerfully murder 2 of the couples if I was living near them

I love Australian The Block right from the first one I watched which I think is in 2016 where it was a soap factory with fun cast mates like Ben & Andy. Right to 2022 I think it was with Dylan & Jenny. Not spoilers by the way just cast mates I remember ☺️

They are currently playing volley ball at the beach. They have so much free time! And with working full time still. With NZ they were worked to exhaustion.

I discovered it as it started automatically after the very last episode of Neighbours finished 😢

I haven’t watched the NZ one and some of the Australian ones are unavailable like the all stars

Block Australia is the best . I didn't like NZ because they get little money or nothing most of the time. but in Australia they win big most of the seasons ,

the houses get bigger and bigger but I really like the characters as most honest hard working .

Ive had an incredibly productive day 😂and finished season 1. And looked up where they all are now, which I find most interesting. I found fashion and hairstyles really interesting and their excitement over a plasma tv, and dh was fascinated by their mobile phones.
