I saw it at the pictures when it came out - loved it.

I loved the Holdovers. It's such a familiar formula you think you know what's coming but it's so much more emotionally honest than you expect.

I also liked The Penguin Lessons, which also had more depth than you might expect.

The Penguin Lessons fella turned out to be a paedo, on the run in South America. It does change your perspective on the film.

There is a cracking film called The Baltimorons, out this year. Very similar in feel to The Holdovers. Love them both.

I loved it. It reminded me of Dead poets society
