He was my choice.

He was definitely the weakest cook but I'm very surprised Dawn didn't win. I thought she was head and shoulders above Ginger.

I've no doubt that as a final three they were strong but I did feel that Ginger had got away with a fair few errors along the way. in fairness I haven't been following along with the thread (we watched 2 eps and the final today!) so haven't commented when I've felt it was unbalanced.

Thank you again for being there chuffs. Its always fun to watch along with ye but its also helped massively.

Busy week last week so I've been on catch-up. I thought they were all good, the tightest final on Celeb MC I can remember... Ginger came over as the strongest cook all the way through, really - Dawn was very good but a little over confident (I thought) and sometimes too off-beat. Alun Wyn was solid but his main was underwhelming. He did have the best journey, though. Will try and drop in Monday.

I’ve just caught up after my top notch dinner out. I liked seeing Ginger as himself, maintaining that “character” is a bit tedious. I’m not sure how I feel about the result, not satisfied but not outraged 🤷‍♀️

I had Dawn to win, although loved Alun Wyn, living in Wales myself. I switched over as soon as they said Ginger had won, but with the BBC obsessed with drag, I guess it was inevitable. The judges fawning over Ginger and calling him she made me feel quite ill. Why didn't he just appear as himself if it's just a persona?

They were all best placed Finalists. Judges always make decision on last Directive. If it had been the ridiculous way the invective 'Journey' has been misappropriated, it would have been fisticuffs between Dawn (and her amazing narratives) and Alun - managing to not complain about how he could manoeuvre massive frame about Kitchen and basically, squat to cook! I think it was a well deserved win. Ginger was incredibly inventive - many "Congratulations and Celebrations" in honour of her 70's theme (although I might have misplaced a decade).

Humble brag and a wtf incoming.

I have just cooked myself a perfect medium rare steak (if i so say so myself). Haven't had steak since Mammy, as it was an us thing (and a while before actually as she had teeth issues). It was delicious. But won't be doing it in a hurry again. Feck me. 10 euro for a single striploin steak from the butcher (prefer steak from the butchers, supermarket can be a bit gah). Cost of living is an arse.

On said COL, bought way less for xmas (im not cooking my friend is, bar my sprout dish) but spent more than ever. 5 euro for a tiny bag of pine nuts!!!

I know none of these four!
