Wondering about IACGMOOH

If they are actually cooking the weird and wonderful meat on an open fire why hasn't anyone ever got horrendous food poisoning? Even if the meat is properly cooked surely eating food that your body isn't accustomed to would give .you a bit of a dicky tummy?
And how do they sleep in the morning when it's daylight? Is it because they are awake really late at night and are just knackered? The slightest light around my blackout curtains and I'm wide awake so I'd be screwed 😄

I always think the washing up in the pond must be really unhygienic too

Coffeeishot · 05/12/2025 14:12

The washing up would really put me off, however there is cameras watching them all the time snd I read somewhere that they closely watch the cooking.

Coffeeishot · 05/12/2025 14:13

I imagine the nap a lot and are so knackered that the sun wouldn't bother them.

Coffeeishot · 05/12/2025 14:16

Google is telling me they are provided with environmentally friendly washing up liquid, so thats something, I don't think itv could risk mass food poisoning.

Do they wash up in running water, is it hot, how do they dry the pots, I think the waterfall is man made but the lake and pond look vile, didn't they used to have hot water in a bath.

Coffeeishot · 05/12/2025 14:38

Maybe they boil water ? It does look rank though

HelloCheekyCat · 05/12/2025 18:27

I forgot about the washing up! Apparently they wash up in a stream….
there must be more going on behind the scenes because as PP said they can’t risk mass food poisoning

Where do they get all the insects, rats, snakes, crabs from, they can't be hygienic either, what happens to the creatures after the trials and where do all the offal and guts cone from and go, once they've all been handled they wont be fit for consumption by any animal.

I think they will get safety talks before they go in although it looks like they are just left, it is a tv show so there will be health and Safety. They have a specialist facility for breeding the bugs, and the "parts" for eating are a bi product, years ago the aftershow programme used to do behind the scenes stuff. Now its just a chaotic half hour of nothingness,

You don't need hot water for washing up, it's easier but you can wash in cold as long as you have detergent.
