Just catching up with last night. We have stayed quite a few times at Coombe Abbey, gorgeous 4 poster beds, The food is lovely, but breakfast was usually served in the un-medieval conservatory. The last time we were there, we had dinner in one of the lovely dining rooms, but some of the other ‘patrons’ were very loud and annoying. I never saw anyone dressed up. I would have loved to have tested the meals by the celebs. I did like the look of the pork, but Dawn’s trout looked very good.

<tangent> Was it a casualty of Amazon? It began to go wrong when you couldn’t get the catalogue to circle the presents you knew were just to dream about because they cost too much. Searching online is no good - you already have to have search terms. (Or it could be I grew up)
