Set Tour - Corrie or Emmerdale?

Looking at booking a tour for my soap addict mother as her Christmas present. She’s a fan of both soaps equally. Distance to travel there’s not much in it. We will be going in winter though so being out doors if weather is bad is a consideration.

Also is it worth paying the extra to ‘meet a star’?

For those that have done the tours, what do you recommend please?

I took my mum to the corrie one a couple of weeks ago and paid meet the star it was a great tour with a knowledgeable guide and we met Shona! My mum thoroughly enjoyed it and we were there for a good three hours. I’ve heard reports that the emmerdale one isn’t so good but haven’t been on it.

Fab thanks @Fooshufflewickjbannanapantsgood info!
Did you park nearby or get tram in from city centre?

Parked in the war museum car park literally across the road. Can’t remember how much it was but wasn’t horrendous. Actually going back just for the museum next time as I though we’d have time to do both but alas no

I haven’t done the Corrie one, but have been on the Emmerdale one, it was okay, nothing special.

I’ve booked the Corrie one and paid a bit extra to ‘meet a star of the show’, I think she’ll love it 😁
