Anyone else rewatching on Channel 4. I wish I could watch all of them, my favourite reality show ever.
Utter nonsense and problematic.
Wish I could watch it from the start.

I always preferred the British version! Did you ever watch the Australian version? It was crazy!

I did watch the U.K. one, I feel like I’ve seen some of the Australian one, not for a long time though.

I always loved the hair cut episodes, might have to re watch as well.

I’d really recommend the podcast The Curse of Americas Next Top Model which was released recently, really unpicks some of the problematic elements of the show and what really went on.

I watched a few minutes of the British one and knew every girl straight away.
I will definitely listen to that podcast.

Oh, god, the problems are pretty clear to see, but thanks, I’ll listen. I would have liked the show to focus purely on that week’s shoot and the photos. I hate the ‘fights in the model house’ stuff, and it’s pretty distasteful watching a bunch of poor, often uneducated and naive, very young women trying to fight their way out.

I never realised what a tiny budget they had for the first couple of series- Tyra called in a lot of favours! And a lot of them got even skinnier due to the minuscule food allowance apparently 😬

The podcast is great. Had it on in the gym. I wish they could speak to more ex contestants but I know a lot have disappeared into normal life.
