1970s Supermarket at Christmas

Just noticed that this is on C5 tonight. I am old enough to have experienced this, but I'm sure many Mumsnetters aren't. Interested to see if anyone on MN does watch it.

I guess there will be a mixture of fond nostalgia (Tunis cake anyone?) and outright horror.

i'm going to watch it as I love all the 'back in time' programmes. I was a young child then but I do have memories of going to the supermarket.

Would have loved this but find Rustie Lee unbearable. That fucking laugh, shoehorned into every sentence.
Someone likes her as she seems to be booked for all the 70s nostalgia stuff! 😡

Yeah it kills it for me too all those D list celebs waffling on.

Oh, that would be so handy! My mum's just told me about some long planks of wood she's found at the back of her shed and I was wondering how I'd get them small enough to fit in my wee car. Her neighbours would have to be forewarned then rewarded with mincepies and snowballs 🍸because they'd have much preferred the dulcet tones of a chainsaw.
