Masterchef Professionals… when will it be on??

I’ve been googling and watching out for any threads here but can’t find any recent updates. Does anyone know when the next Masterchef The Professionals season will be broadcast on BBC? My dark November nights are not the same without it and I’m really pining for Marcus and Monica and some entertaining skills tests!

It's certainly on our minds at my house. A bit of a search on Reddit doesn't reveal much apparently it has been shot and is in the can. We think that the whole broadcast schedule was set back by the sackings. So now we are catching up and it won't be shown until the new year.

Thanks for replying! I’m so afraid I’ll miss the start. It’s the one show we still all watch together as a family so it’s a lovely thing on a dark evening coming into Christmas for us. Fingers crossed it’ll be announced soon.

I wonder if we aren’t getting one this year:( it always marks the run up to Christmas for me.
