Piers Morgan is on This Morning today - 😭 sorry but it is needed, ITV are suffering without him

My 2nd is something Charlotte Crosby said on This Morning yesterday (yes, i am a sad woman for tuning in every day 🙈) - she said that 'duty of care' means that we will never get another Geordie Shore

And she's right - reality tv is finished 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

That’s a good thing though, Vicky and Charlotte will always be remembered for their sexual antics on camera. Funny how no one says the same about the lads though

None of the men from Geordie Shore really have TV careers now though, do they? I don’t know if anyone is talking about them at all

I don't know if this counts, but when one of my friendship circles were raving over Love Island and saying that I should watch it... I watched the first five minutes and texted the group to say: "Not for me, I think it's cruel and vapid."

Some people agreed (but still watched) and some disagreed and said things along the line of the fact that 'it's not that deep' or 'it's just a bit of fun'.

Maybe it's not an unwoke opinion, maybe I am just a killjoy? Either way, life is too short to watch unpleasant television.

Definitely a good thing, they were so young and so drunk

But it did make good tv as it was genuine - same with the earlier seasons of love island

Now its just not good and so manipulated to 'protect' the contestants

But it was good to watch though! It had his victims and successors like anything i guess

Benny Hill wasn’t a misogynist, he was in the vanguard of calling out the hideous male behaviour that too often was acceptable then (and even still now).

Piers was making Lorraine Kelly cringe today. He does like to ‘ tell it like it is’ doesn’t he.

I don't hate all reality stuff either - I used to watch Catfish as it was just so fascinating. Some lonely, unhappy people and some utter lunatics!

Having said that I did have a secret habit of watching Ex On The Beach which made Geordie Shore look like QI
