Is anybody watching this?

I really enjoyed the first episode. I like history but don't really know much about American politics so I hadn't heard of either of these men.

I looked them up and it seems like Garfield was a good man and would have made a great president if he'd had the chance.

I felt really sorry for Charles' sister always trying to defend him and getting let down.

Well if anyone is looking for something to watch I recommend giving it a try.

Because Death By Blonde Highlights would be something I'm definitely watching 😉

@RightOnTheEdge I watched it and really enjoyed it. Didn't know anything about the story or the men apart from Garfield having had a cat named after him.

I've never seen Matthew McFadyen be bad in anything. Would also recommend.

@donaldtrumponlyhasonedancemove that is because he's an absolute god amongst men. As Jeeves on stage with Stephen Mangan's Bertie, he was superb.

Ooh, we are enjoying this, everyone is so good but it is upsetting knowing that Garfield was cut down by such a non-entity when he really seemed like he could have been a great president (only know this from reading around the series, knew nothing of them before).

would also recommend Manhunt on Apple TV about the hunt for Lincoln’s assassin. Amazing story!

loved Death by Lightning, an interesting story well told, well acted, dramatic, sad but funny at times too.

I finished yesterday. The last episode was really sad. A great series though and I enjoyed it.

Manhunt sounds great, I will have a look for that.
