I presume they are the Stephen Booth books. I like those, some of them a lot. I will have to check it out.

Off hand, can you tell me if Stephen Booth has stopped writing? I do frequent checks on Fantastic Fiction and as far as I can see, he's written nothing since a standalone book, "All Fall Down" (2018) I think. I have googled him several times, but have found nothing relevant.
Thanks.

Thomas (or whatever) the nasty footman from "Downton Abbey"! Will be interesting to see him play an always pleasant character.

When I read about this in the paper I was keen to give it a go because it's supposed to be set in the Peak District, which I know quite well. I have read one Stephen Booth, a long time ago, can't remember the title but I think it was set in Castleton.

However, disappointed to find it was all filmed in Ireland! I mean, nothing against Ireland, I am sure it's lovely, but why not film it where it's actually meant to be set? I was looking forward to trying to recognise some of the locations.

Anyway I decided to give it a go anyway but I long since lost interest. Seems like a lot of nonsense.
