I know it's the Daily Mail but they had an article on one half of the celebs parachuting onto a beach. I assume that's the first part of the 'joining the camp' part. I'm disappointed to find out that it happens so early. I assumed the whole 'joining the camp' bit happened on the same day they actually went into the jungle. Obviously there might be pauses in filming etc and it's edited but they haven't gone into the camp this early so it must be filmed in stages, days apart, which is disappointing (to me).

so theyve already met and jumped today and do their settling in so bu the time we join them Sunday they’ve had 3 days in the jungle ?

@Blondeshavemorefun I don't know if they are already in the jungle or if they went back to their nice hotel. I assumed the entry to the jungle would be filmed on Saturday. I doubt they'll be in the jungle for several days before it begins so I'm assuming they film parts of the entry to the jungle challenge, pause it for a night and then continue the next day. I feel vaguely cheated. I read the headline, clicked on it and saw one of the teams but decided not to read the article as I want to watch it Sunday without spoilers.

Last year I got quite annoyed by all the spoilers in the media about what would happen in that nights' show. They'd talk about the funny bits from the trials etc. I think ITV do it to keep people talking about it but if you know what's going to happen, what's the point in watching?

Oh I used to do the same watching with DD then she buggered off to uni. Thankfully her flatmates were fans as well and we still used to watch along, with DD texting and sending videos - it was like my very own mumsnet thread!

This year she won't be as the workload is too much - poor sod is still working at 9pm most days 😰. I will have to join in here instead.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jack. I think he has matured so well, I'd love him to do well. DD is a bit of an Aitch fan, so I'll have to keep her updated.

Late to the thread but I am so excited for this lineup this year. It’s the first year Dd2 will be joining us she’s been wanting to watch for years.
Dd1 and I really looking forward to Jack. Watched every episode of World Detour and Adrenaline Junkie so think he will be great. Also looking forward to Shona, Martin and Ruby

Apologies if it’s been posted but they’ve changed the rules so that no one contestant can do more than 2 bush tucker trials back to back to “give everyone a chance to shine”

Surely the public making the same person do the trial is part of IACGMOOH culture?!
