just walked in to DP watching this episode. And just wow. It's definitely of it's time (I hope!).

TW - it's about a stressed mum accused of attempting to murder her 14 month old child.

Wait, what? Crown Court is on? Where, please? 🙏. I used to watch it whilst bunking off from school. Brilliant programme.

Oh gosh dunno. It will have been on one of the sky channels as DP has no idea how to get into netflix, prime or Disney . I've just asked him and he hasn't a clue, maybe one if the itv channels. It was about 4pm.ish.

Crown Court is on Talking Pictures. All 3 episodes of each case shown on Thursdays.

It's quite fun to watch and often has lots of actors who then went on to become more famous. Richard Wilson before his I don't believe it days for eg. And for the differing cultural ideas from then to now.

However, that music always makes me think about being off school ill bored to tears while my mum watched it.

Originally I believe it was set up to demonstrate what the new crown court systems were like to people. Love that the jury were apparently made up of real members of the public.

I record these as I remember watching it when I was about 3 in the 70s.
It's interesting to see the attitudes that were around in my first decade.

I could hear the theme tune in my head, just by reading the thread title. . I think that's my biggest memory of it.
