I just binged watched this and aside from the first episode, I laughed and snorted all the way through, Particularly when he referenced the 'Angry women on mumsnet'. Do you think Steve Coogan hangs around mumsnet for character ideas ? 😄

Dp laughed so hard he was crying at 'angry women on mumsnet'.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

My husband found the Mumsnet part very funny.
It was definitely an entertaining show IMO nothing groundbreaking or particularly brilliant but just something to sit and enjoy for an hour or two and sometimes that gets top marks from me.

That's interesting- I gave up after the first episode, should I keep going?

Davros · 05/10/2025 14:28

I’m looking forward to this. I’ll keep me lugholes open for the MN mention

carkerpartridge · 05/10/2025 14:31

I didn't even make it to the end of the first episode but I might persevere based on this!

ImWearingPantaloons · 05/10/2025 14:58

I’ve done three and am saving the others for tomorrow. It’s brilliant.

HotAndHassled · 14/10/2025 13:06

Isn’t that the catchphrase of the influencer who absolutely lost weight on HRT just before she tries to flog you some shameless tat?

the80sweregreat · 14/10/2025 16:38

It was very funny. Some of his one liners made me laugh. I was never into Alan’s earlier shows, maybe I need to buy some DVDs ..

the80sweregreat · 14/10/2025 17:35

The mumsnet bit had a thread about Holly Willoughby!

tinydynamine · 14/10/2025 17:38

I loved it, but a bit disappointed his long-suffering PA Lynne had such a small part (compared to previous series).

the80sweregreat · 14/10/2025 17:42

I loved Lynne with the solicitor! She gave him short shrift 😂

Lifesyoungdream · 15/10/2025 22:50

I’m really enjoying this series and I’m not really a Steve Coogan/Alan Partridge fan but finding this really funny.

the80sweregreat · 16/10/2025 03:19

I wasn’t keen on ‘ this time ‘ ( having never seen knowing me knowing you ) and gave up after one episode I think , but this is very good / funny!
