The Golden Girls

I'm watching this again on Disney and it doesn't age for me.
I used to watch it in the 80s, with my mum and my nan.
Does anyone else love it?

Oh I didn’t know it was on Disney! I absolutely love the golden girls. Used to watch it with my parents and sister back in the 80s, such a strong bunch of characters, all so funny.

Ooooh, I just started S1 Ep 1 and only lasted 2 minutes a it has NOT aged well 😱

I love it, used to watch it with my mum when i was a kid. The ensemble cast was sublime. Spoiler alert my favourite is the episode where blanch and Sophia shared a man. It was of its day,

One of the better US shows for its time, in fact it's quite timeless really!

My hilarious Mum sadly had to go to a nursing home towards the end of her life bless her, and she called the home her "Shady Pines" 😊

Loved it in the 90s. Can't believe I'm now the same age as the girls!

Love it. I also love the Golden Girls Podcast with Jennifer Simard and Patrick Hines.

It’s real comfort viewing, and I never, ever skip the theme tune.

Funnily enough my DD20 has recently discovered this and loves it.

An all time favourite for me. Also one of the few shows where I never skip the theme tune!

Oh Its my comfort TV, Sophia’s lines are just so memorable , "beat if you 50 year old mattress . " 😂
