I’m finding all the women super desperate and needy this season and it’s so off putting. Makes me feel like a misogynist for disliking them all.
All the apologies from Kalybriah to Edmond when he had been such a weirdo, sent me over the edge.

I’m struggling with the women this season too - they are wanting their partners to be obsessed with them and immediately in love, meeting children, crying always - but then then the majority of the men seem like arseholes.
I have enjoyed seeing some of the families though and liked how their dynamics work.

Yes! Nick ended things with Annie and she proved his point by bleating on at him that she loved him and wanted to marry him completely ignoring what was being said to her

Yes, all of the reality shows this year seem to have weirdos.
I also think a lot of the contestants in this are frequently too drunk to know what they are doing or talking about. See Annie, Anton and Joe. I also think Kacie was very drunk for a lot of her scenes. It's sad that they have to drink to have the courage to be on camera but also feels quite irresponsible to watch.

I think KB is covering her arse for the inevitable break up. She must be sick of having to explain to him like a child every time he pisses her off and why. But, if she didn't she'd be accused of not explaining or letting him grow. He has the choice at least this way and she is single handedly doing more to try to educate the viewers on what values she expects than most of the others. I'm watching MAFS as well and there's a lack of anyone having boundaries and clear expectations on behaviour on that!

Is this possibly the worst bunch of people and matches ever? So many issues!

I just can't imagine anyone saying yes, I almost applaud those who have walked away - even at such a late stage, and as much as I didn't like Joe better to leave now than have to deliver a no at the altar (well, I know it's not an altar as such but you know what I mean!).

If I were Ali I'd be walking away from Anton after seeing his awful eating habits...I feel the producers deliberately turned the sound up for us on that one 😩

Only 3 couples going to the ceremony so only one show for that (22nd) and then we have to wait a whole week for the reunion 🙄 I'll probably just watch them both on 29th!

Oh no, I didn’t realise there was a week between weddings & reunion or I would have waited to watch them together & not caught up as quickly as I have done!

I do also think the mental stability of many of the contestants this year is dubious & Edmond needs help of an altogether different kind, given his clear lack of emotional maturity.

What a shit show of a season. People should be better better before being allowed on! They should be screened for needing therapy. I really hope netflix pay for Edmunds therapy as he will need it.

Interesting that the the final 3 men would have gone ahead with the marriages but it was the women who said no.

Edmunds teacher seemed lovely - I thought I had watched all episodes but I must have missed something because what was the back story there?

Looking forward to the reunion next week. Do we know how long after the weddings it is filmed? Did anyone watch the preview?

If the brides knew they hadn’t made a decision why did they go to all the hassle of getting friends and family together and all getting dressed up? At least Meghan did it before it got to that point. Do you think production company had something to do with it? Has there ever been a series with no weddings? I’ve only watched US and UK versions. Any others worth watching?

This is the first time in 9 seasons there’s been NO weddings. The French version was interesting

I saw someone online say that Megan looks like Boyle from Brooklyn 99 and she so does, I can’t unsee it now.
I don’t normally feel emotional about this show, it’s just a bit of shit tv to pass the time but I felt so moved by Edmund and Kalybriah’s wedding. He should never have been allowed on the show bless him. Sounds like he’s overcome so much to get where he is today. I really hope this doesn’t set him back because those feelings of abandonment might bring up everything from his past. His teacher seems lovely, I’m so glad he has her. And poor Kalybriah, she felt so guilty. But she made the right decision I thought.
Ali seemed like she was going to say yes, she kept saying about how much she loved and appreciated him. Wonder if production wrote those lines for her because it was a bit contradictory!
Meg and Jordan were so mismatched.
I wonder what the reunion will be like with no couples, unless some of them stayed together. Or swapped. Did you know about Joey and Sara from season 8? I think have been a few swaps.

I was so relieved everyone said no. And I do think there was production bribery to get some of them to go down the aisle.

i was surprised Megan called it off without getting all dressed up.

@jay55I respected that. I thought she would say no at the wedding and wondered where Luca would be in all of that.

@Snugglemonkey it had already been decided that Luca would not appear on the show, Megan said as much at some point
