One thing I like about Corrie is that they have proper families and the children are involved in everything. When was the last time we saw Jimmy and Nicola’s family for instance? The only time we see teenagers on Emmerdale is when they are pregnant or involved with drugs. Where’s Eve? Archie hasn’t been seen for about a year. I can barely remember half the kids because we never see them!

That's a good point about the children in Emmerdale.

They are only really used /on screen as part of a plot or story line .

They are never just there in the background .

Why wasn't little Dotty a bridesmaid ?

I’m looking forward to the crossover with Corrie. Todd and Robert - Toddrob! That’ll teach Aaron to reject gorgeous Robert once too often. Then Theo can fight Aaron, John can intervene to ‘save’ Aaron, and Lego head can push John off the cliff of doom, slip and follow him. Then, Hope can sort out April, and our Traceyluv can slap the smirk off Chas’s smug face. Caleb will find plastic Abi irresistible, Ruby will catch them at it, and finish off Abi. Marlon and Roy can have a bake off, which Roy obviously wins hands down. Peter Barlow appears, peace is restored, The End.

I wish John would kidnap Chas and chain her up in his bunker, I don't think she's got anything likeable about her.

Dotty must be nearing her teen years. I can't remember the last time we saw her.

Not just Dotty, why wasn't anyone at the wedding other than Mandy, Kim, Bernice, Laurel, Arthur and Kammy? Belle is meant to be particularly close to Vinnie but she was nowhere to be seen. Where was Sam and Lydia? Where was Dawn when she's meant to be like a sister to Gabby?

Why is Chas so nasty and sour faced?

couldn’t give a fig about April and the drugs storyline it’s a total farce…,she looks like she should be playing with doll’s houses…they give her these storylines she can’t carry…

Totaly agree with all of this. Utter tripe. Why couldn't they arrest John? Just how stupid do they think we are to believe that he evaded all the police to get back to the village.

I know I watch too many true crime stuff but they can trace people through CCTV but hey, he's got his invisibility cloak on so that wouldn't work.

Chas chained up in the bunker would be a great idea. Nobody would be hoping she got rescued. She's another one like Paddy and Marlon from the Classic days who's past their sell by date.

What about poor Ella, she was convicted of doping Chas. The whole village condemned her, mostly by effing Chas. She could come back to the village, Liam would be racked with guilt, fall in love with her and dump Chas....

Yep.
I didn't like Ella at the time as I felt she was a bit of a pointless character but again, just like with Robert, everybody believed Saint John over her.

I wonder if there will be any flashback scenes. I’d love to see how John with his broken ribs, just a few days after falling off a cliff, managed to lift Mack with his broken ankle and shoulder up a ladder out of the bunker. Then carry him through the woods to his car.

Because I only got back into Emmerdale recently I’ve fallen down a Chas rabbit hole. Her real life drama. She can’t be right can she? Engaged to a drug dealer who’s in jail for ten years. With threee young daughters. I hood their father is very much on the scene,
