Why is Chas telling Robert to keep his distance?

Was Robert in tonight's episode ?

Yes he went into the Woolie and Chas told him to stay away from Aaron 🤬

Ohh my !
I must have had one of my zone out moments !! 😅..

To be fair she seems to be saying it so much recently, it is not surprising !?

JaneJeffer · 24/09/2025 21:09

I think she’s starting to get on Aaron’s nerves and he didn’t even hear that happening 😂

PrincessScarlett · 24/09/2025 21:27

I know we are all cross about St John still being at large but I absolutely love the scenes between Mackenzie and Aaron. They at least are well written. They have such great chemistry together and Mackenzie has some brilliant comedic lines.

Jitterybugs2 · 24/09/2025 20:12

They’re almost as efficient as Hotten’s finest constabulary who swarmed the village searching for a crazy murderer and didn’t notice him hiding behind a bush.

😆😆

bizzey · 24/09/2025 21:43

Did some posters call John ..Dr Death some time ago on this thread ?

Nicola called him that tonight!

They really do read our threads !!

😄😄👋👋👋👋

bizzey · 24/09/2025 21:43

Talking of Nicola..
Where is Jimmy ?

I meant to ask that the other day. He’s disappeared!

ninjahamster · 24/09/2025 21:51

I was wondering if Caleb will tell cain where Antony is buried, cain will move him and then they will shop John?

RaraRachael · 24/09/2025 22:39

Lydia seems to have disappeared too along with Dawn and Joe (not that I'm complaining about that pointless pair)

OnTheBoardwalk · 24/09/2025 22:52

Mackenzie is up and walking about when they thought he might not live a week or so ago and leapt out of the chair

I tripped on some dodgy pavement 3 months ago and am still finding it hard to move and get up and down

OnTheBoardwalk · 24/09/2025 22:57

AND, playing catch up.

what company would put a newly qualified driver on the company insurance, especially with the history of their claims

a previous company I worked for you had to be 25 years plus

DrAmanitaPhalloides · 24/09/2025 23:23

Jimmy is probably in John's bunker.

Ellenanora7 · 25/09/2025 00:03

It's getting tedious now, why can't the bloody scriptwriters know when to stop, it's gone on long enough.

Hotten general is a wonder hospital, miraculous recoveries in days.

"I'm so sorry family of the victim but it's not looking good, please prepare to say your goodbyes 😞😞😞😞.........oh no wait hang on, in the last five minutes they've just regained consciousness and can go home tomorrow "

🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 25/09/2025 06:16

I think Caleb has set John up, there's no way they'll let him get away with it.

I would never have thought about kicking the back seat down, but why didn't Cain just move the parcel shelf and press the button to push the seat down?

I remember years ago we had a nightmare in a company I worked for when we had to hire a minibus last minute, as none of the potential drivers were over 25. The idea they’d give a HGV licence to someone newly qualified is laughable.

And what about Charles? He’s gone from being a regular character to a glorified extra. He only seems to be in it if there’s a wedding or a funeral; a bit like Donald Hinton back in the Farm days.

I just love them together - no actor, no matter how good, could fake the enjoyment and affection in Mack's eyes when he's banter-ing with Aaron. I'm guessing they are good mates in real life.

RaraRachael · 25/09/2025 10:50

I love Mack and Charity together. I'm so glad he wasn't killed off and hope that the Ross baby paternity thing doesn't split them up.

Wishimaywishimight · 25/09/2025 10:57

I think the writers have thoroughly spoiled the denouement of the 'John' storyline. It was, very briefly, enjoyable when the realisation hit of what John had been up to but they massively cocked up the Mack side of the story - him being dumped in a wheelchair followed, seconds later, by Moira crying that he might not make it, to him being home, albeit with a slight limp, a couple of days later (having been shot through the shoulder with an arrow, had a rock dropped on him and been starved in a bunker and drugged for however long).

Dragging it out further with this escape plan, the daftest border security guards (and dog!) and Cain being dumped in the boot of a car etc etc. The momentum will have gone by the time John is caught / killed, no one will care too much by then.

Still, if it keeps D-man and his dreary side-kick off the screens, I can only be thankful for that.

RaraRachael · 25/09/2025 11:09

Every time they have a decent story it gets dragged out far too long. It's as if they come up with a story but have no idea how to bring it to a conclusion. That is probably how they work to be honest.

I feel April is like the elephant in the room. The story is totally unbelievable as she can't carry it off. We all see it but on and on it goes.

JaneJeffer · 25/09/2025 13:26

A lot of people seem to think that’s the end of John but Emmerdale haven’t posted a goodbye to Oliver so I think we’ll see him again. Why end the story when it can go on and on?
