Have you seen Too Much on Netflix ? Really enjoying it, stars and directed by Lena Dunham, pretty sure she wrote it too.

Also hot priest from Fleabag which is always a bonus 😉

I was and still am a huge fan of Girls.

I thought Too Much was utter pish. Didn't make it past the first episode. Bad writing and acting and the lead actress Megan Stalter was incredibly irritating and flat despite her best attempts to appear adorably quirky.

Girls was a complete one off in terms of how Lena's voice aligned perfectly with the time it was made. It was boundary pushing and almost unbearably honest sometimes. The characters were compelingly awful. The casting was perfect. It was absolutely hilarious and often truly heart-breaking.
I guess lightning doesn't strike twice.

Oh shame, I loved it, it wasn't Girls but it wasn't trying to be. Loved seeing LD again.

I didn’t hate Too Much but I would say Girls was leagues above it and some episodes were dangerously close to perfect. Was good to see LD again, definitely.

I liked Too Much in the end. I would perservere to anyone put off by the first episode. There were some good funny lines in there, delivered really well at points. And some good issues raised.
Agree it was nowhere near Girls and bits that weren’t great, but in the end I was entertained and loved seeing some of the cliches of London and classic cliques portrayed from an American perspective.
