Someone once mentioned that they had been to a Beebies open day with their children - does anyone know anything about these? How often? Where can I find out? The CBeebies website doesn't mention them. My DS would be in heaven!

So would mine - keep me posted!!!

CountessDracula · 20/01/2005 14:03

Wow really? My dd would love that too!

I keep checking the applause store. They have tickets for all sorts of shows and recordings. They e-mail me with what's coming up so if I hear anything I will post.

I know an open day is offered to BBC employees' fmailies, but not often, and it's so popular it's names out of a hat. We tried last year but got nowhere . I'll see if I can find out if there's a day on offer to all.

Thanks monkeygirl. That's a real shame if it's only open to BBC employees but I guess there would be thousands of thoroughly overexcited toddlers mobbing Poi, Chris, Mr Tumble etc otherwise. Oh I hope there's something for the public....

Maybe we could organise a MN open day!

monkeygirl · 20/01/2005 14:26

Not to mention the over-excited parents...

bundle · 20/01/2005 14:28

the parents were more giddy than the kids...

Satine · 20/01/2005 18:39

Bump - just in case anyone else has any insider tips!

Just to confirm what I suspected and Bundle said - atm there is no general open day, and even then tickets are like gold dust....

Satine · 20/01/2005 21:20

Come on MN HQ - with your power and influence, couldn't you arrange a MN Beebies open day?!

Surely it would be the hottest ticket in town!
