Would love your help. I’m after an autumnal watch - either spooky autumnal or cosy autumnal. I have all the usual streaming services. Am watching Bake Off with the kids and will likely start Silent Witness soon with DH. Thanks!

Not really autumnal but we are enjoying (it that's the right word) I Fought The Law. Also the documentary on Netflix about the cyber bullying of a teenage couple in America (I can't remember what it was called).

Unknown caller - watched it last night and it is really good

Have started re-watching ‘Poldark’ on BBC iPlayer, it’s brilliant! It’s in the archive category if you scroll down or do a search.

The scenes and opening sequence has a lovely autumn feels with all the beautiful windswept Cornish coastland, billowy cloaks and dresses, the flames of an open fire dancing embers into the sky, oo look at me getting all poetic! 😂

KeepOnKeepingOn25 · 08/09/2025 19:23

Plus, you know, Aiden Turner.. 😍

GRCP · 08/09/2025 19:33

Oh Poldark is a great shout! Never seen it

netflix reminded me that A Confession was leaving at the end of this month, it was broadcast originally in 2019, on itv but dont let that put you off. i found it excellent

Another vote for I Fought the Law. Sheridan Smith was incredible.

I hated Department Q sorry. It’s starts well but just gets totally silly.

Really enjoyed two documentaries on bbc recently - the vanishing cyclist and and the great art fraud
