I was gripped with this. Has anyone else watched?

Shannan (I would've pronounced her name as Shanan/Shannon, but apparently it's Shah-naan) had a wonderful life, a massive house in Colorado and a great husband.

Also 2 daughters named Bella & Celeste. RIP

Anyone else watched? Far out. He seemed so lovely.

he seemed so lovely? Did he? How?

I’ve seen it as it’s been on Netflix a while. But I’m confused about how he seemed so lovely as he bare facedly lies to the police about the whereabouts of his wife and daughters. Straight from the off, with no hesitation.

Even in the flashback scenes, with all the texts she sent whilst staying with her parents, it is really clear that he had checked out and had very limited interest in his family.

What gave an impression of him being a ‘great husband’ ?

I meant initially, he seemed nice. Obviously we know now he wasn't at all.

He sure did check out of the marriage. But I guess it's the same old question- why not just divorce? They'd already discussed separating.

What he did is unfathomable. I don't agree with the death penalty but good to know he'll die in prison.

It had a big impact on me, especially how calm he was and it was shocking how he treated his children. I blame limerence and reckless thinking- it was almost like he was drugged. His wife was lovely- knew her mind and he'd probably say he was scared of her reaction if he told her he was leaving. The footage was real, which made it all the more shocking.

this was very upsetting

but also very interesting, all the face book, the whole documentary made up of this and cctv and police cameras.
