Anyone watching this? I caught episode 2 last night, not realising I was watching episode 2 instead of episode 1.

I will watch from the beginning tonight.

The story moves back and forth between 1989 and 2009 when Facebook provided a way of reuniting former acquaintances. The music is more indie and new wave rather than SAW, so it may appeal for the nostalgia.

I really enjoyed it. Apart from I think Theresa Palmer is about 10 years too young to play Alison.

Ah, thanks. Didn't realise it had been and gone already.

I've only watched one episode so far, and it's not clear to me what year the present day is meant to be. However, on the plot summary, it says 20 years later, so Alison would be 36-38m and Theresa Palmer is 39.

There is reference to 20 years ago/later on 3 of the episode descriptions in the BBC, amd yes, it does mention 2015 as well! Not very consistent.

Anyway, Theresa Palmer is a bit too young to look like she's got a child at university already. Ro be honest, I don't think they cast present day Alison well at all. Florence Hunt was brilliant as young Alison, but theybcouls have at least chosen someone with similar hair colour to play older version. I think Jess De Gouw, who's also Australian, looks more like an older version of Alison but she's even younger than Theresa.

I'm watching in rte , I thought the description might be wrong . I agree the actress playing the older version looks nothing like the young girl, and she doesn't have a hint of a Sheffield accent . I found it hard to believe she wouldn't have a bit of an accent

It's an Australian - Irish production, I loved it but the U.K. audience wasn't the key driver!

I’ve watched it all. It has some similarities with “One Day” but was so so so much better. I actually cared about the characters and it made sense why they weren’t together- neither of which I can say about “One Day”!
