New series of MAFS UK to start Monday, 15th September.

We know it’s not as good as the Aussie version, but we’ll be there for this year’s rabble!

With interruptions, it’s taken me til now to get through the episode.

It got worse with the song, oh dear. Is he just nervous and trying to cover up his insecurities by being larger than life or is he actually full of himself? Sometimes these self confessed ‘nice guys’ are anything but and feel like they’re owed something from women. Time will tell I guess. Sarah got worse though, I’m really not liking her with her attention seeking ‘my type is men with tattoos and that look like they’ve just got out of jail’ rubbish. She’s so desperate that she’s willing to meet someone on a tv programme so her attitude hasn’t worked out too well for her so far, I just wanted her to shut up. Her dad is the nicest thing about her.

Yes. I used to be a trainee solicitor in criminal law, many moons ago. And met many many current and former jail inmates.

No one’s idea of attractive in the real world. 🙄

I've just caught up. I think Sarah did really, really well not to be unkind or stroppy about the whole thing. The ixperts have definitely stitched these two up like kippers. I can't help but think Sarah was encouraged to think that tough, tattoo man was on his way for her and that Dean was encouraged to be wacky and his True Self.

Poor Sarah has definitely been set up. Yes she said she was willing to marry someone who wasn’t her usual type but surely she didn’t mean the complete opposite

i think she handled it all very well. I'd have been out of there at the rap

Urgh, I just watched the cringeworthy aftershow.
Dean is so fake; that constant laugh and "no, believe me!" eyes.
How do they film that then? After they've all split and hate each other's guts? I can't imagine that's going to work well but I did wonder if they are the first couple to break up and they had to do his interview pronto. He even said something like "I'll take all the coverage I can get" or something like "I can't wait to be famous now" but in a subtler way.

Just catching up now… I’m not warming to Sarah at all. She took one look at Dean and decided she didn’t fancy him. If she did she wouldn’t have minded all the raps and songs - think about how Kristin took the false teeth last year! I’d rather a rap than those!

Dean is the biggest ick imaginable - and it's not to do with his weight. Actually he's not particularly unattractive, in his way. Plenty of people can grow attractive to you if they have the right personality and spark but OMG NO. Not him. He's so fucking self obsessed. Made the wedding all about him and his SHIT rap and then goes and makes the reception all about him and his equally shit song and singing. Utter narcissist. She got the ick walking down the aisle and should never have married him, and she can barely speak about him without recoiling so it's not gonna get better.

Yeah, I was looking at him last night and thinking he's not actually ugly, he has a nice smile - it's the try-hard persona that's so off-putting. And I use the word persona deliberately, because I'm not even convinced it's who he is below the surface. Kind of irrelevant I suppose, because Sarah already didn't fancy him before they'd said more than hello, so the chances of him growing on her are pretty much zero even if he does relax and stop trying to be Mr Personality.

Oh crap! I forgot about this! I was too focused on the huge spider in the bathroom Saturday and yesterday, its bloody vanished today and hoping the cat ate it but it was actually bigger than his face so I doubt that.

Nice to “see” everyone again 😂

So what have I missed. I know I need to catch up on yesterday ( I don’t recall it every starting on a Sunday before )

I assume there is an episode tonight. I was at Zumba, so frantically making my way home
