Is anyone watching this? I've just watched the first programme on iPlayer, charting the rise of Homo sapiens amongst other human species. It was so interesting. It reminded me of something I haven't thought about in decades - the BBC schools radio programme "Man" which we listened to in top juniors back in the early 1970s! I remember being fascinated then, and I'm looking forward to the rest of this new series.

Yes! We watched a random episode and thought it was awesome, so started watching it from the start. On holiday just now so will continue when we’re home … it’s brilliant though

Thanks for the recommendation!

It’s great, we stumbled on it by accident, but it’s been fascinating.

I've now watched the second episode which was fascinating - the little "hobbit" species on an Indonesian island. I started what I thought was the third episode, and was puzzled as to why we'd come so far forward, to the first cities - and then realised I'd skipped to the fifth episode by mistake. I'll go back and watch the third so that I don't get too out of sequence.
