If I was to start watching it as a newbie what is the best/most iconic series?

RHONJ has always been my favourite. I’ve never been able to get into any of the others.

I like BH. Never seen any of the others - they just don't appeal though no idea why!

It seems I'm actually a bit limited as to what I can find on my various streaming services 😔

I can only watch Beverly Hills, I can’t seem to get into any of the others. Although I recently saw they have made a London one so I might give that a go

I only watch Orange County! I don’t know how that happened out of all the others but I love it - so much drama.

I grew up in Cheshire so watch the RHOC. They’re all so fake and ghastly I cringe throughout every episode!

Beverley Hills is the best IMO!

Close runners up are Orange County and New Jersey.

I also watch Atlanta & Salt Lake City. Both are fine but not on the same level as the others! I’ve never tried New York or Miami.

Ok so next question - where do you stream it from?
Most of the things I have only start from the more decent series and I kind of want to watch from the beginning of a series.

Hayu is WELL worth the £5.99 a month or whatever it is. ALL the housewives seasons (including the Aussie ones, and the South African ones), ALL the Below Decks and so many more.

Start with RHONY, but I’d say don’t watch all the RHONY seasons in one go. Maybe, RHONY 1, RHONY 2, RHOBH 1, and then see what you think. Miami is KILLING it at the mo, but savour it. Same with SLC. Oh god, and Melbourne. Gina from Melbourne is one of the GOATs.

OC is the original but it’s a very different beast from the 1st season.

If you’re not going with HAYU, just go with whatever streaming service has the most episodes, that you can start from season 1. Remember if you’re starting with season 1 of any of them, give it time for the “wives” to find their groove. Dive in. Enjoy.
