expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 21:08

I want her Le Crueset round pot.

I'm very, very envious of that.

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 29/05/2008 21:11

I have one and to be honest I prefer my kitchen aid stuff - all wedding gifts not got pockets that deep

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 21:14

No, I want that round pot.

I've even gone and looked at it every now and again online .

mine are the deep blue set but have seen the cream and duck egg blue ones which are dreamy - pathetic I know

Indith · 29/05/2008 21:20

I have it expat, I adore it.

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 21:37

I knew it, Indith!

WWaaaa.

I could save up to get one, but I know they are very heavy and right now as we don't have a secure tenancy I know it's not the right time because we need to keep heavy items to a minimum since we're going to have to move.

BUT that means when I finally get one, I'm gonna lurve it even more.

Go on you know you want one! Mine has lived in 3 different places with us and we've only had it 18 months! And we will be moving again in all probability by the end of the summer. Not that heavy compared to the rest of your stuff surely

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 21:58

Well, we don't have much furniture to shift . . .

I fantasize about it in winter, when I can start a casserole on the hob and then just put it in the oven.

Or take something out of the oven and plop that round pot right on the hob for the gravy.

Ooooo, yes.

I taped this so am watching it just now. I love what Sarah wears, especially to the old boys house! She is brilliant, I'd go to hers for dinner anytime.

I don't know if I could eat zebra, but this is the second time Channel 4 have shown how good ostrich is - have they shares in an ostrich farm?

TwoIfBySea · 29/05/2008 22:20

So we all know what to buy expat for Christmas!

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 22:21

Oh, I could eat zebra.

expat, if you are ever in Livingston there is a Le Crueset shop in the Outlet Centre.

I maybe shouldn't have said that!

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 22:24

Luckily, I'm nowhere near Livingston

OP posts:
MrsMuddle · 29/05/2008 22:52

But you're relatively near Glasgow, and TK Maxx in S'hall St is FULL of Le Crueset at the moment!

I bought a lovely big pink jug/bowl thing last week.

expatinscotland · 29/05/2008 23:00

I think I'll save up for one after DD1's birthday.

We had thought to buy a deep fat fryer , but then one came up on Freecycle that we got so now we don't have to buy that.
