I'm just watching it again
I watched it religiously at the time.
For me, this is the best US cop series ever, so far.

Brilliant, with excellent characters and story lines . Rewatched it from the start a little while ago and throughly enjoyed it .

I remember watching it with DH and him looking at me in horror when I turned into a sobbing blubbery mess when a certain character died.

Ah I loved this. Great characters, pretty groundbreaking for its time. And same as pp I cried on occasion too
