I really like the song on the cbeebies springwatch, and the dance. I have had that song in my head all day

Nothing much else happening in my head really

Slubberdegullion · 29/05/2008 20:16

I like this Osprey guy and his funky slowed up camera.

Slubberdegullion · 29/05/2008 20:40

That was very cool. I love the ospreys.

Tidgypuds · 30/05/2008 22:05

Pinkpussycat - yes oh he is lovely! Gordon Buchanan thanks for that now I can go perv over some google images of him.

Tidgypuds · 30/05/2008 22:06

Oh yes and the ospreys were very impressive too.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 30/05/2008 22:08

See now if we'd entered those kids singing the cbeebies springwatch song into Eurovision......

I was right about the cameras outside my house...

MargaretMountford · 04/06/2008 10:22

are you at Pensthorpe, or in the Cairngorms ?

OP posts:
Twinklemegan · 04/06/2008 23:00

I'm near the Cairngorms. Can't say more - there aren't too many houses where they were filming... I got Simon King's autograph!

MargaretMountford · 05/06/2008 12:00

We love it. It's just a shame it's on so late in the evening for children.

We all watched it together during half term. But now we record it and watch it the day afterwards, and it's not quite the same when it's not "live".

roisin · 05/06/2008 19:56

It inspired us to go out to an RSPB reserve on Saturday, and we saw a Bittern, Spoonbills, Avocet, and a Reed bunting, none of which we've seen before.

Actually I'm not a natural birder at all. Dh and the boys love catching a glimpse of "something we've never seen before", but I much prefer being able to watch something properly and that's usually something less rare and less timid. Last week I particularly enjoyed watching the lapwings.

MargaretMountford · 05/06/2008 20:51

sounds fab roisin ! where did you go ?

OP posts:
roisin · 05/06/2008 21:45

Leighton Moss (S Cumbria) - it was amazing!
There were a lot of people there, and in the hide everyone went completely bonkers when this Bittern suddenly flew across. It was quite funny.

Highlander · 06/06/2008 19:51

I'm afraid have a bit of a thing for Nature Chris

DS1 loves Springwatch and the song is fabby.
