This chorus seems a bit...unplanned!!😂

NooNakedJacuzziness · 13/07/2025 00:06

Thing is, Macca at his prime makes up for anything, he was extraordinary

I can't stay awake to watch any more.

Thank you for the company and sharing memories.

CheerfulBunny · 13/07/2025 00:07

Jellykat · 13/07/2025 00:07

JaneJeffer · 13/07/2025 00:08

NoisyBrain · 13/07/2025 00:08

God I loved Duran Duran so much back in the day (still do but in a slightly less lustful way 😁)

Teaseall · 13/07/2025 00:08

Here we go, my teenage loves, Duran Duran 😍

Appalonia · 13/07/2025 00:08

There were a lot of British acts in America weren't there?

Seeing Stewart Adamson there has just made me realise how much this song sounds like "in a big country"

Feel so sad about Stewart Adamson.

Oh no the yawn fest that is Duran Duran and Simon's awful voice.

Sorry

(Not sorry)

I loved him, been playing In a Big Country all week

Middlemarch123 · 13/07/2025 00:09

Simon le Bon Bon, how gorgeous was he? This show has been amazing, like all my birthdays and Christmas’s all at once. Great night travelling down memory lane x

I sort of agree, but he was very easy on the eye.

NoisyBrain · 13/07/2025 00:09

John & Nicks mullet game was STRONG

PerfectlyNormalOwlFreeMorning · 13/07/2025 00:10

I'm not sure I like travelling back in time. Just feels a bit sad, the hope to the reality.

The Chauffeur is def their best song. But i’m a huge fan and love all their songs

JaneJeffer · 13/07/2025 00:10

The sound in Wembley was miles better apart from the untuned piano

NooNakedJacuzziness · 13/07/2025 00:10

I'm also calling it a night now. Thanks for watching along, it's been so lovely, you lot are ace. It got quite emotional in places!

I've been sitting on my arse for hours now, I better do something tomorrow..

Thing is, Macca at his prime makes up for anything, he was extraordinary

I saw him at Glastonbury in 2022. Peter Jackson cleaned up some vocal from John Lennon from the Get Back documentary so Paul got to duet with him live on stage after all this time. So emotional.

SwedishEdith · 13/07/2025 00:11

Macca isn't just a Beatle though. I've been listening to Band on the Run a lot recently. Wings was also a great band. I love him though, feel quite protective towards him 😄

angerelle · 13/07/2025 00:11

I was a proper Durannie, but this set makes me cringe, the sound/mix is awful and Simon misses a lot of notes 😬

I get exactly what you mean, but I’m just grateful that we can look back on this amazing time in music.
