Dexter: Resurrection

Two episodes just released on Paramount + with new episodes every week.
So good and a welcome return to form after the disastrous last season.

Yes, I watched it, I thought it was really good

Seen both episodes really enjoyed it

I am very confused, I thought he died at the end of that series set in Aiaska, with his son? Which I didn't enjoy as much as original Dexter.

Then I seem to have heard about another recent Dexter series which goes back to when Dexter was young (with a different younger actor). What was that then? Can't keep up with it all, seems a bit of overkill (see what I did there)? 😁

I miss original Dexter in Miami. Don't want to subscribe to Paramount Plus just now, I may in the autumn, but what is going on with it?

@Pemba the other one is Original Sin which I really enjoyed. The first episode dragged but after that it really picked up.

I did like the 2 new episodes of Resurrection and enjoyed Angel being back. I thought Dexter had died at the end of the Alaska series too, but apparently not! I didn’t even know Resurrection was in production until Paramount emailed me to say it was coming soon.

There are various notions like he faked his death, he was wearing a bulletproof vest, the wound wasn't fatal, all a bit Bobby Ewing in the shower but I'm glad he's back, I wish it wasn't weekly but Paramount usually is for new series like Apple TV is.
