Any one watched this. I can remember following her during 2021 and been completely taken in by her, and then the reality emerging and me thinking no way!

And now I've just watched this two parter and thought what the actual .

It was quite fun. Very Netflix.

I couldn't believe this story. All those people who gave her money under false pretences. Especially the ones who thought they were going to Disney. All such lovely people, she definitely knew who to prey on..the worst part of it for me was hearing about her baby. Obviously there are questions over the circumstances which led to her death. Heartbreaking, the poor little soul.

ToffeeCrumble · 10/07/2025 08:26

She's obviously a very convincing person as she's able to fool everyone. She seems intelligent and it's a shame she doesn't use it for something better than scamming everyone.
Suspicious about the baby.

I found it quite an unsettling watch. It felt, on occasion, like Tattle brought to life. Internet sleuths 'investigating' her and a whole tv show created round her. Not for one second am I saying that she's not a con artist who's deceived people as a minimum but I just felt this sense of unease at her life being dissected so publicly. Why her in particular.

pushthebuttonnn · 10/07/2025 09:18

Nothing less than she deserves imo foolsgold. At least it's some bit of justice for the people she conned. Seeing as they didn't get any money back.

I get it. I'm not defending her at all. Making the programme just left me with an uncomfortable feeling. There are thousands upon thousands of con artists, scammers, fraudsters etc.

The tiktok disability lady?

I felt the same. I kept waiting for the big reveal of something worthy of them making a whole documentary about her and it just seemed like they were making much of a very mentally ill woman who clearly needs psychiatric help and isn't ever going to get it (also not defending her just confused as to why they picked her for this).

onceuponatimeinneverland · 10/07/2025 17:42

Mmm it did feel a bit Tattly.

And all those people who didn't do any due diligence before trusting their money and children to some one who was a stranger.

I began following her during the whole Airbnb debacle. Never parted with any money though. Best I did was share a post/tiktok.

It's such a shame she actually had a nice voice she could have made a living doing those reading books or something instead of scamming people

Rosebold · 09/10/2025 13:59

Shocking behaviour from her, I think she must be pathological and very unwell mentally. Other than that can we mention how hot her Irish Landlord was?

TheFireHorse · 14/01/2026 19:42

Omg! I stumbled upon this person by accident on an old thread that had been bumped up.

It was the thread talking about how awful it was this woman had been taken to court etc etc. and someone recently updated with the BBC podcast.

I listened to the podcasts open mouthed.

Un bloody believable, much more info than was in the Bad Nanny documentary. Including telling about a poor autistic kid that she traumatised so badly that the kid is still getting counselling.

Then I found the RTE podcasts. The woman presenter has an amazing voice which I ended up listening to every night and falling asleep to!!

Sorry, I digress, but there are even MORE examples of what this evil woman has done. Again not mentioned on the documentary. Probably because of time, but what that woman did is truly truly disgusting. She traumatised so many families.

Her own father don’t even want to see her when he was dying from cancer.

The documentary doesn’t even really scratch the surface of the things she did. She will not stop. I truly believe she will move abroad and end up doing something even more dangerous.

One of the other things that wasn’t mentioned in the documentary was that the surrogacy couple who she ripped off, were anonymously given a donation to help with IVF and they now have a child.

If you listen to the RTE podcast (they had 4 hours of interviewing her) and honestly, even though you know she is lying through her teeth, she is just so believable.

I can see how she fooled vulnerable people. Which makes her even more immoral.

She even fooled the Financial Times!
