Disney plus not working on one telly

I have Disney plus. Well I mean my friend has added me on hers.
HOWEVER it works on the laptop, it works on my phone, and I've just managed to get it working on the upstairs Tele in my room.
BUT it won't let us use on the main Tele in the lounge! I don't get it! How can it work on those but not on the Tele! It keeps saying this TV doesn't seem to be part of the Disney plus household for this account.
But yet it works on the other Tele, the laptop and the phone so I don't understand!

Has anyone else had this and know what the problem is?

I have got the Disney plus app up on my phone (apparently the Tele should automatically recognise I'm signed in and then sign in on the Tele but it doesn't). I have tried pressing that button at top right hand corner on the app on the phone to stream it but that isn't working either

And I've uninstalled the app and everything and that hasn't helped

Do you mean she's added you as an extra member which is a paid for option or that she's just given you her details and you're using her account? If the former I'm pretty sure the extra member can only stream on one device and if the latter then that's not allowed and I suggest you just get your own subscription.

She's checked if she's got the right option and she does - where other people in other households can use it.

And it clearly is letting me use more than one device anyway

I think you are limited to the nber of devices you can use. I know ours is limited.

There’s a limit on how many devices can log into a single account, 10 I think. If over that then maybe that’s the problem?

Oh right ok I didn't know this was a thing. She didn't mention it but maybe she doesn't know.

So if I delete the app off my phone, will it then let me log in on the Tele in the lounge??

I had this a few days ago so didn’t use that tv all day for a day and a half then it’s back to normal now thankfully.

She probably wasn't expecting you to use it on 4 devices. It's pretty clear on the website even the premium plan can only support 10 devices.

Also my previous comment was accurate you can only stream on one device at a time as a extra person on the account so if you leave on and streaming then the others won't work.

I honestly didn't find that information about 10 devices.

I haven't tried to watch it on 2 different devices at the same time I guess. I thought you meant logging into different devices at the same time wouldn't work

Make sure the non working TV is connected to the right wifi network. If it's accidentally on another network then it'll appear to be outside the "household".

It's been on the same WiFi network since we moved it years ago. And all the other apps work on the WiFi it's set to. I don't have another WiFi to connect it to

Definitely disconnect from a few devices op, we let relatives use it and one day got a message that our account wasn’t the main area (they are abroad) and we got locked out of our own account while they used on not knowing. We finally had to set up a new account

You’ll need to log out of one device that is not being used or change subscription level.
I do ours through the Tesco clubcard vouchers and they has changed recently as we used to have 4 devices simultaneously, it’s been reduced to 2.
